The fine print, made simple.

Gloz provides a platform through which customers can request nail services to be performed at eligible locations.

Nail technicians using the platform may operate as independent service providers and are not necessarily employees of Gloz.

Availability of particular technicians, appointment times, services, or locations is not guaranteed.

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Gloz account, book Services, or enter into a transaction through the Gloz platform. An adult account holder may book Services for a person under 18 only if the adult is the minor's parent or legal guardian, or has authorization from the minor's parent or legal guardian. Gloz may require a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult to be present for the duration of any in-home Service provided to a minor.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an account and use the Services.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your account.

Customers may request available nail services through the Gloz platform.

A booking is subject to technician availability and any applicable confirmation requirements.

Prices, travel charges, fees, taxes, cancellation terms, or other applicable charges may be displayed before the booking is completed.

Gloz processes payments for services arranged through the platform.

By submitting a booking, you authorize Gloz and its payment-processing providers to charge your selected payment method for applicable amounts associated with the transaction. These may include:

• Service charges
• Travel fees
• Taxes
• Tips
• Cancellation or no-show fees where applicable
• Other charges clearly disclosed before or in connection with the transaction

Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on when an appointment is canceled, whether a technician has already accepted or begun traveling to the appointment, and other circumstances.

Applicable cancellation charges should be disclosed through the platform.

Gloz may issue refunds or credits where appropriate under its applicable policies or where required by law.

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate booking and location information
• Provide a lawful and reasonably accessible location for the service
• Treat technicians respectfully
• Avoid threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or unlawful behavior
• Avoid requesting services that violate applicable law or Gloz policies
• Pay all authorized charges
• Follow reasonable instructions related to the requested service

Gloz may suspend or terminate access for conduct that threatens users, technicians, the platform, or its legitimate operation.

Technicians using Gloz may be independent contractors or independent service providers responsible for performing the nail services they accept.

Technicians are responsible for performing services professionally and maintaining licenses or qualifications required by applicable law.

Gloz facilitates bookings, communications, and payments but does not guarantee a particular result from any nail service.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived.

Customers may have the opportunity to rate or review technicians.

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and may not contain unlawful, threatening, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise prohibited content.

Gloz may remove content that violates applicable policies or law.

Gloz may communicate with you regarding your account, transactions, appointments, customer support, and other aspects of the Services.

SMS / text messaging

If you separately opt in to a Gloz text-messaging program, you consent to receive the types of messages described at the time you opt in.

Messages may include appointment confirmations, booking updates, technician arrival or status updates, verification messages, account alerts, support communications, and other messages related to your use of Gloz.

Promotional SMS messages will be sent only where Gloz has obtained the appropriate consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may cancel participation in a recurring SMS program at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, you may receive a confirmation message. You will then no longer receive messages from that program unless you opt in again. For assistance, reply HELP or contact Gloz through the customer-support options provided on the Gloz website or application. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The Gloz name, logos, platform, software, designs, graphics, text, and other proprietary materials are owned by Gloz or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit protected Gloz materials except as permitted by law or expressly authorized by Gloz.

Gloz may suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary because of:

• Fraud or suspected fraud
• Nonpayment
• Misuse of the platform
• Threatening or abusive conduct
• Violations of these Terms
• Safety or security concerns
• Legal or regulatory requirements

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis.

Gloz does not guarantee uninterrupted platform availability, the availability of a particular technician, or any particular cosmetic result.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gloz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.

Any limitation of liability contained in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law or another applicable law requires otherwise.

Gloz may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where legally permitted.

Use of personal information is governed by the Gloz Privacy Policy, available through the Gloz website.
